Job Description :
This position is remote and can be located anywhere in the United States.
  • Responsible for the control of documents originating within the company including storing, managing, and tracking company documents in the centralized library observing legal guidelines and best practices.
  • Will be required to maintain a secure, computerized document revision system, a periodic review system, and status tracking for all process-related documents and records.
  • Verify completeness and accuracy of stored documentation, as well as appropriate formatting.
  • Adheres to the company's document lifecycle procedures and archival of inactive records in accordance with the records retention schedule.
  • Conducts interviews with various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation and assists with the development of operational documentation in collaboration with subject matter experts using paper, electronic, multimedia or we-based tools.
  • May assist with developing and maintaining other types of documents such as meeting minutes, workflows, specifications, approvals, and related items.
  • Coordinates the verification, approval, and processing of document revisions, and tracks document activity to ensure timeliness and process efficiency.
  • Recommends formats which are responsive to technical and customer requirements.
  • May train employees on records management procedures and policies, which include documentation, retention, retrieval, destruction, and disaster recovery.
  • Produces products that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in business administration or a related field or 1+ years of experience.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Prior experience with document management processes and systems.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage time well, multitask and troubleshoot.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills in order to effectively interact with internal and external business partners.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office products including SharePoint, Teams, Word, Adobe Professional, document control software, process mapping software such as Visio.

The expected base pay for this position ranges from $20.00 - $24.00 hourly and will be based on a number ofadditional factors, including skills, experience, and education.
