A lovely family in Los Angeles, near Studio City, is seeking a long-term full-time nanny for their social and easy-going 9 month old daughter to start Tuesday September 26th. Care is needed Mondays-Thursdays 8:30am-5:30pm and Fridays 8:30am-12:30pm. The family is flexible with the schedule being Mondays-Thursdays 9am-5pm and Fridays 9am-1pm, with the option to stay later on Fridays, if that works better for the provider. The child enjoys bath time, outings to the nearby library and music classes, singing, stacking and knocking over blocks, and swimming. She thrives on a schedule and the family is looking for someone to engage with her while doing various developmental activities. Mom and dad work from home and candidates must be comfortable with this. There is a small 16lb friendly dog in the home, however, no pet care is needed. A great candidate will be creative, engaging, patient, and well organized.

• Start date: Tuesday September 26th
• Length of Position: Long term, minimum 1 year
• Compensation: $25-$27 per hour + overtime if over 40 hours per week
• Schedule:Mondays-Thursdays, 8:30am-5:30pm

Fridays, 8:30am-12:30pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Bottle & solid feeding
• Creating & engaging in age-appropriate development activities with the child
• Diaper changing
• Facilitating nap times
• Keeping child's play areas tidy
• Light laundry for child
• Light meal prep for child; easy meals, steaming veggies, etc.
• Occasional outings (driving the child); vehicle will be provided, furthest distance ~15 minutes
• Washing dishes related to child

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid professional infant care experience as a babysitter, nanny, or in a daycare setting
• Must be UTD on CPR certification or willing to renew prior to start
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Further education related to child development is a plus
• Must be comfortable with small friendly dogs
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Fluent in English
