Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Airfare Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and recommending optimal US/North America to Asia group airfare options for our clients. Your expertise in group airline ticketing, fare structures, and industry regulations will contribute to providing exceptional customer service and maximizing client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

· Research and analyze airfare options from multiple airlines and ticketing consolidators to determine the most suitable airfare options, discounts, and promotions.

· Help book and issue international group flight tickets for our groups traveling from the US/North America to Asia.

· Includes double checking passport information to ensure it is correct prior to booking.

· Stay updated on industry trends, fare structures, airline policies and regulations.

· Assist with flight changes, cancellations, and rebooking’s, adhering to airline policies and regulations.

· Assist with dietary and seat assignment requests.

· Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally.

Required Skills & Experience:

· Experience as an airfare specialist, customer service, or a related field.

· Experience with travel & booking flights from the US/North America and Asia.

· Knowledge of airline ticketing, fare structures, airline policies, and industry regulations.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with complex itineraries.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.

· Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

· Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to work remotely, independently, and collaboratively within a team.

· Ability to work in a cloud-based environment.

· Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

· Utilized global distribution systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport to search and book flights.

· High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant certifications or additional education in travel and tourism are preferred.

· Excellent mathematical and analytical skills for calculating fares, taxes, and fees accurately.

· Experience with use of work / task management software (Monday.com)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
