ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Avoya Travel is hiring a full-time Network Administrative Assistant.
We are seeking a skilled and organized Administrative Assistant to join our travel industry team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our travel professionals and ensuring efficient travel operations. Your attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to multitask will contribute to the overall success of our travel services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Support administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, organizing meetings, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.
Assist with financial tasks, including billing and invoicing, processing expense claims, and tracking travel-related expenses accurately.
Utilize travel booking systems, online reservation platforms, and office software proficiently to perform tasks efficiently and maintain accurate records.
Assist with other tasks and/or special projects as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role, preferably within the travel industry.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling travel bookings, documentation, and financial tasks.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
Proficient in using travel booking systems, online reservation platforms, and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, databases).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and effectively.
Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and willingness to work outside regular office hours when required.
EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION
1+ years or more of working experience in a similar role
High School Diploma or equivalent
PHYISCAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift to 15lbs at a time.
Ability to travel to home office or other locations as needed.
