Job Title: Warehouse Assistant

A little bit about our team: Archive Operations is responsible for storage, access, and preservation of physical and digital assets, for WMG Artists and Labels. This includes documents, audio and video, photography, artwork, and ephemera for both on-roster and legacy artists dating back 75+ years. We are the central hub for storage and preservation of content for WMG Labels including Atlantic Records, 300 Elektra Ent., Nonesuch, Rhino, Warner Records, Warner Music Nashville, and many more.

Your role: As a member of the Archive Operations team, you will have the opportunity to work with physical documents and media stored in WMG Vaults, in a project-based role lasting 6 months. Primary responsibilities include retrieval and relocation of document boxes for onsite and offsite moves, including palletizing, shelving, and database updates ensuring assets can be quickly located at all times. The majority of work will be completed in a warehouse setting requiring safe and efficient use of ladders, pallet jacks, and other moving equipment.

Here you’ll get to:

• You will retrieve document boxes from warehouse shelves (requires the ability to lift and carry boxes up to 60 LBS using ladders)
• You will palletize boxes and secure items for transport.
• You will move boxes and items to other locations within a warehouse.
• You will create and update database records including cataloging, barcoding, check out, and location changes.
• You will sort and catalog media assets including audio and videos tapes, commercial product samples, and merchandise.
• You will help move furniture, equipment, and other materials.

About you:

• You have outstanding organization and strong attention to detail.
• You can work safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment.
• You can perform manual labor for extended periods of time.
• You can safely operate pallet jacks, dollies, and other non-motorized moving equipment.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• You are comfortable working independently and as part of a small team.

We’d love it if you also had:

• Forklift operation certification
• Experience in warehouse operations or logistics
• Database experience
• Experience working in an archive or library

Salary Range

$20.00 to $24.00 Hourly

Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
