Administrative Assistant

Job Description:

Home Health Agency is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to work well with their team, and also work independently and prioritize their workload. They will be able to multi-task and have a strong ability to adapt to change. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with the Case Managers and other administrative staff.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent (Associates degree in Business Administration or similar is preferred)

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role preferred but not mandatory
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
  • Ability to work with team and also independently
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Must have a valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation to our office in Burbank

Responsibilities:
·Maintain office operations, including but not limited to: organizing, ordering, and stocking office supplies; maintaining office environment; maintaining calendars; answering phones; sending faxes; scheduling and confirming appointments; greeting visitors; assisting with general office tasks as needed.
·Managing/Ordering Supplies for office and for patients.
·Assisting with patient intakes
·Working with case manager to assure patient care

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Burbank, CA 91506: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Healthcare industry: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
