Were looking for talented Makeup Artists to join our team! We are a boutique makeup artist studio in Los Angeles, CA and are looking for the right person to join our team.

We are looking for a Makeup Artist who is passionate about makeup and has a positive, upbeat attitude. The ideal candidate is someone who can work well in a team environment, enjoys sharing their creative talents with others, and has an interest in learning more about the industry.

Requirements:

• Must be comfortable with using various makeup techniques and techniques of contouring
• Must be comfortable with using various tools of the trade such as; creams, powders, blushes, etc.
• Must be comfortable with applying multiple products at once (e.g. bronzer contouring)
• Must be comfortable with blending out large areas of color (e.g. eyes)
• Must be comfortable with applying eyeshadow to correct eye problems (e.g. puffiness)
• Must be comfortable with applying eyeshadow to add drama (e.g. on the face)
• Must be comfortable using various tools of the trade such as; creams, powders, blushes, etc.
• Must have a passion for beauty and love to learn more about it (e.g., how creams work)
• Must have a passion for sharing your artistry (e.g., how you create your look)
• Must love people and love to make people feel beautiful!
• Must love being organized and on time!

Responsibilities:

• Working knowledge of professional art techniques including but not limited to: contouring, highlighting, base contouring, highlighting contouring, eyeshadow application, eyeshadow application contouring, brow contouring), etc.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and client service-oriented demeanor at all times

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

• Hair styling: 4 years (Preferred)
