Customer Service Representative [United States]

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative for a large health system located in New Haven, CT area that is open to working hybrid. Professionally and effectively interface with customer on a daily basis. The first point of contact to resolve any day-to-day issues for this key customer working in conjunction with the McKesson account management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • On-site at customer’s facilities at customers request
  • Front line of support for large health system with multiple locations
  • Resolves ordering, inventory, delivery, contract pricing, service issues, etc. by clarifying the issue (if necessary), determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting resolution and follow-up
  • Provides customer with helpful information, answering questions and responding to issues in person, email, phone, etc.
  • Works with internal McKesson team (matrix organization) to resolve day to day issues
  • Works with customer to optimize generic performance and contract compliance
  • Provide training on McKesson’s ordering system – McKesson Connect/Next Gen, CSOS and hand held devices
  • Proactively assists the customer with inventory, reporting, returns and other requests
  • Perform site visits to facilities
  • Documents issue resolution for customer and within salesforce.com and tracks customer initiatives

Minimum Requirements
  • Typically requires 5+ years of related experience

Additional Skills
  • 2+ years customer service experience or pharmacy technician/buyer experience
  • Professional communication; strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with internal/external customers including suppliers, account managers, and co-workers

Physical Requirements
  • Travel to multiple facilities
  • Make Deliveries (if necessary)

This is a hybrid position with onsite work in Connecticut. The ideal candidate will live in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Jersey, or New York.

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$20.67 - $34.45
