Description/Job Summary

Lindahl Reed is hiring a Contract Closeout Specialist to Support the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Office of Inspector General (OIG). The Contract Closeout Specialist will provide contract closeout services for approximately 700 contracts. The candidate can be sited anywhere within the United States and will work remotely via VPN and with the USDA IAS Prism contract writing system. The duties and responsibilities include the following:

Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide contract closeout services for approximately 700 contracts (65 contracts per month).
• Establish detailed closeout SOP for review and approval before proceeding with contract closeout modifications within the USDA IAS Prism system.
• Verify all deliverables, products, or services required under the contract have been provided as specified in the contract.
• Responsible for ensuring final invoice is received an in file.
• Confirm release of claim and liabilities is received from vendor.
• Ensure all records related to the contract, including correspondence and documentation, are properly filed, and stored for future reference.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• At least 3 years demonstrated experience processing Federal contract closeouts in accordance with FAR 4.804-5.
• At least 1 year of demonstrated experience with Integrated Acquisition System Prism within the last three years.
• Have held an FAI or DAWIA level 1 certification in contracting within the last three years.
